Keep Things Easy for Clients

Clients want to do things lightening fast these days. The speed of business is quick! Now! When clients need something done for them to reach their goals, it’s much easier to pick up the phone and text someone you’ve done lots of business with in the past than it is to start over again. Who wouldn’t want to save time when they can?

How can you make things fast and easy for your clients? Continue to offer excellent results with remarkable service.

Once we've established the trust and respect aspects of the working relationship, we prefer to do business with people we like being around. Seems pretty natural, right? We spend a lot of time at work, so it makes sense that we want to be with people we actually like and share interests with while we’re doing it.

For example, if you’re a 35 year-old looking for a financial planner to manager your money all the way through to retirement, you are going to spend a lot of time with this person. You absolutely want this person to be someone you get along with and even have fun with while talking about your future.

Also, remember that relationships built on trust mean you can limit the amount of risk in using someone for an important project or client. A lot of my experience is in wedding planning. As a wedding planner, when I have a big wedding I will call on my most trusted vendors to provide services for my client. In this way, they’re really partners in producing the event, because I'm counting on them to completely handle a specific area and without much of my involvement.

If you’re working with new people, you have to stay more involved in what your client is paying them to do, because you’re not sure if they’re going to come through. Who are you going to go with, then, the new provider or your trusted partner?

Keep things easy for your clients by being responsive, fun, friendly and excellent at what you do for them.
